    Job Description

    This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of ambitions personnel who are acting as an employment agency.  

    We are currently recruiting for an Aftersales Advisor to work for a well-established, credible car dealership based in Grantham.

    This business is passionate about customer service and ideally they are looking for someone with previous experience of working in a service department.

    Basic salary - £18,000 + bonus
    Working hours - 8.00-18.00 Mon-Fri + every other Saturday 08:00-13:00

    The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months' experience in a franchised dealership environment within a Service Advisor or Aftersales Advisor role. Ideally you will have experience with Dealer Management Software such as Kerridge, Pinnacle or Peak would be an advantage. We are looking for candidates with strong administrative skills whilst able to maintain an excellent level of customer service.

    This is a customer-facing role; candidates should therefore be well-presented, well-mannered with excellent customer service skills. To be considered it is essential that you have current or recent Motor Trade experience, ideally within a Main Franchise Dealership in a Service/ Aftersales/ Workshop Control role.

    You will be joining an experienced team of 10 who are ready to welcome someone new to the team.

    You would be representing a local Grantham dealership, with new cars from one well known credible manufacturer, or a mix of used cars.

    Your day-to-day tasks will include:

    ·         Taking inbound calls from customers who want to book their service or MOT

    ·         Making outbound calls to book in customers for service or MOTs

    ·         Calling customers to book appointments for the local dealership

    ·         Providing excellent customer service and arranging call backs for customers

    ·         Using internal booking system

    ·         Taking Inbound sales calls from customers who are enquiring on cars

    ·         Hitting targets and KPIs

    ·         Building rapport with customers

     

    Person Specifications

    ·         Passionate about providing excellent customer service and retaining customers

    ·         Strong communicator

    ·         Confident working to targets

    ·         Previous sales related experience in either a telephone based role or face to face sales

    ·         Proven track record of achieving your own targets

    ·         Skilled at overcoming objections.
