    Job Description

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a payroll administrator to join a small but busy office in Newark. The Payroll Administrator will ensure the smooth running of payroll processing and administration, maintaining up-to-date records of employee changes, liaising with third party providers and keeping up to date with statutory deadlines and changes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Taking ownership of the payroll requirements for the company; you will be the key contact for all payroll queries.
    • Ensuring the smooth running of the payroll process and administration
    • Maintain up to date records of any employee changes
    • Liaising with third party providers
    • Keeping up to date with statutory deadlines and changes
    • Producing reports and accruals to the Finance department for Month End reporting
      Suggesting and implementing improvements to streamline the payroll process
    • General administration duties 

     

    Person Specifications

    Experience;

    • Strong knowledge of all Payroll requirements
    • Previous experience in processing UK payroll for a business
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Must be able to keep up with work load
    • Work well on own and in a team

    This is a full time position with the working hours being Monday to Friday 8 am until 5:30pm.
