    Job Description

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join our clients IT Projects team based in Bedfordshire. The key emphasis of this role is to provide administrative support in all aspects of project management.

    You will be responsible for:

    • To assist in maintaining and producing accurate project documentation and project logs
    • To support the IT Project Team in all required aspects of project documentation.
    • To complete project administration tasks, including preparing of reports & presentations & providing management information accordingly
    • Assisting in the tracking of issues and reporting to the management team
    • Reviewing the progress of projects
    • Maintaining consistency of projects by performing project reviews and audits to ensure they are in line with processes, and the use of accurate documentation
    • General ad hoc administration tasks
    • Managing and organising diaries, answering telephone calls, booking travel and accommodation
    • Create strong relationships internally with stakeholders and externally with suppliers
    • Raise purchase orders and process invoices
    • Full responsibility of organising meetings from rooms bookings, equipment and catering to preparing agendas, taking minutes and follow up on actions
    • Maintain document systems, including data management and virtual filing

    Person Specifications

    The ideal candidate will have the following:

    • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
    • Ability to prioritise to ensure tasks are delivered on time
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Intermediate level of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Word
    • Strong organisation skills and time management
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • A flexible and adaptable approach to work specifically in peak periods
    • The ability to use your own initiative
    • Proven ability to manage own time and workload
    • Full UK Driving License
    • Willingness to travel
