    Job Description

    This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of ambitions personnel who are acting as an employment agency.  


    Our client provides businesses of all sizes with expert professional advice and support in the areas of Employment Law and Health and Safety.


    This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is CIPD qualified to join the employment law team working as a HR & Employment Law Specialist.


    Your role will be to pro-actively contribute to the team by providing compliant telephone, email and on-site employment law/HR advice and support to your allocated pool of clients in order to ensure best practice and avoid litigation.

    This role would suit someone with strong knowledge and experience in an HR Advisory role providing guidance to managers and business owners on all aspects of employee relations.

    An in-depth and up to date knowledge of all UK employment law and its practical/pragmatic application is essential for this role.

    If you have previously worked in a role where you have advised either the Claimant or Respondent or have Employment Tribunal experience, then we urge you to apply for this role.


    Person Specifications

    • CIPD qualified
    • Good knowledge of employment law
    • Employment Tribunal experience would be desirable
    • Ability to listen to the client and tailor advice to suit
    • Ability to appropriately undertake legal research and updating
    • Computer literacy and good typing speed
    • Professional attitude, giving credibility when dealing with clients
    • Ability to work under pressure and within tight time limits
