    Job Description

    We are currently recruiting for an Office Assistant on behalf of our client, who are an established firm based in the Alfreton area.  This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to join a family run business, which strives to invest in their employees to empower them.

    Duties will include:

    • Update the computerised workshop management systems
    • Working in a busy vehicle repair and maintenance depot
    • Assist the Admin and Service teams
    • Processing of repair and maintenance work
    • Filing and photocopying any relevant paperwork
    • Compiling weekly timesheets for all Technicians
    • Handle all telephone and email queries
    • Help maintain a clean and tidy service reception area
    • Order facilities and stationary supplies
    • General office duties 

    Hours of work – flexible with a minimum of 25 hours and up to 37.5 hours a week Monday – Friday.

    Person Specifications

    • Knowledge of vehicles and associated maintenance would be desirable, although not essential
    • Experience using online filing systems and portals
    • Good all round IT skills (particularly Microsoft Excel)
    • Good communication and team working skills
    • Problem solving ability and use of initiative
