    Job Description

    We are looking for a patient and calm individual who will commit to maximising customer satisfaction and be instrumental in supporting team objectives.

    The role:

    • With this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, with your own dedicated accounts you will be responsible for providing an excellent level of customer service.
    • Using your knowledge of a wide product range, you will understand customer requirements and how they can be met through production capabilities. You will liaise regularly with the Manufacturing/Distribution teams, acting as the interface with customers. 
    • Your product knowledge gained will ensure you maximise sales and repeat business. You will administer orders, organise deliveries and respond to ad-hoc enquiries thus ensuring that customer requirements are met on an accurate and timely basis.

    This is a full time permanent role; the hours of work are 8.00am to 5.00pm. The annual salary is negotiable upon experience, up to a maximum of £18,000 per annum.

    Person Specifications

    • You will have a genuine interest in working with and helping customers, with the ability to deal with challenging situations.
    • A team player, you will have a highly cooperative approach, committed to supporting the team where necessary.
    • Sound communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills are essential with the flexibility to deal with individuals at all levels. You will use your experience of working in a customer focused, fast-paced and pressurised environment to exceed customer expectations.
    • With a high standard of education which includes literacy and numeracy you will have the ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise a variety of tasks.
