    Job Description

    This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Ambitions Personnel who are acting as an employment agency.   

     

    We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful hardware and software (e.g. printers / copiers) business based in Grantham. This is a full time temporary - permanent opportunity and a fantastic time to join a fast growing business. This opportunity would suit an individual who has previous experience working in a busy office environment and ideally with an internal sales background. 

     

    Working hours: Monday – Friday; 09.00-15.00. (£18k pro rata)

     

    This role would suit someone with previous experience of working in an office support role who is also happy to get involved with the day to day running of the office and be proactive in getting involved with other office support duties such as handling customer calls and queries and complaints.  

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Taking all service and sales orders for toners ad stationery via the telephone and email.
    • Raising Purchase Orders and Delivery Notes, matching paperwork and raising invoices.
    • Booking service calls and despatching engineers.
    • Booking Sales appointment for the MD.
    • Entering Purchase Invoices
    • Credit chasing
    • Banking and doing the post
    • Reconciliation of the accounts
    • Getting stock out for deliveries
    • Looking after a fleet of vehicles
    • Typing quotes for Sales team and chasing

     

    Person Specifications

    • Previous administration experience is essential
    • Ideally some previous sales experience (internal sales / outbound calls)
    • Candidates must be fully computer literate and conversant with Microsoft office
    • Able to work well within a team of strong personalities
    • Excellent organisation and time management skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to work on own initiative (occasionally you may be in the office alone)
