    Job Description

    This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of ambitions personnel who are operating as an employment business.

     

    We are recruiting on behalf of a successful, well established Warehouse based in Grantham. Due to an internal re structure this credible company is now looking to hire a successful Customer Services Team Leader with a proven track record within a Customer Service Team.     As the Customer Service Team Leader you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Customer Service Team, you will lead by example and help to inspire, motivate and lead the wonderful team of Customer Service Advisors! 

     

    Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the team and will work towards achieving departmental and company-wide goals.

    Helping to develop, coach and inspire a high-performing team will be one of your key objectives in this role, so someone with strong leadership and line management skills is a must.  You will be actively involved in recruiting the best people for this business and therefore an eye for talent will be essential.

    This role would suit an individual who has in-depth customer service experience within an office environment who is also confident in leading a team and setting objectives

     

    Person Specifications

    • You’ll be a champion for change, not afraid to think differently and try new things
    • Proven experience with a Customer Service Team
    • Your passion for great customer service will be infectious, and you will be a natural leader with the ability to problem solve and think strategically
    • Ideally you will have previous supervisory / line management experience but this isn’t essential

     

    Benefits

    • 25 days paid holiday entitlement (full time entitlement for complete years worked).  Your holiday will increase by 1 day per each completed calendar year of service, up to a maximum of 30 days.
    • You need to reserve 2 of your days for 3 day Christmas shut down period
    • At the beginning of the holiday year, you can choose to buy or sell holiday. The money from any days you sell is put towards buying other benefits through the flex scheme
    • A company paid healthcare cash plan after successful completion of your probationary period/qualifying period.
    • You can upgrade your level of cover or add dependants to your plan through the flex scheme
    • A comprehensive company paid health screening every 2 years after successful completion of your probationary period/qualifying period.
    • You can choose to upgrade your health screen through the flex scheme and/or buy one for your partner 
    • Company paid childcare vouchers up to £243 per month after successful completion of your probationary period/qualifying period if you have a child under the age of 5 and meet the relevant eligibility criteria (rules apply).
    • If you have a child over 5 you can buy vouchers through the salary sacrifice scheme
    • 4x salary life assurance (subject to an Earnings Cap and the terms of the Plan from time to time in force).
    • You can choose to flex up or down through the flex scheme and/or buy cover for your partner
    • Permanent Health Insurance (Income Protection) at 50% of salary for up to 5 years if you are unable to work due to illness and meet the relevant qualifying criteria. You can choose to increase the cover through the flex scheme.
    • Long Service Awards – up to 5 additional days holiday to use in the year you complete 10, 20, 30, and 40 years’ service; a choice of a taxable financial award or non-taxable vouchers are also offered at 20, 30 and 40 years’ service.
