    Job Description

    Due to organic growth our clients based on the outskirts of Grantham are looking to recruit a Sales Planning Supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to join a fast-growing SME manufacturer. This is a wide varied role and our client is looking for a proactive leader to supervise a team of 4 Customer Service Advisers; working closely with the Managing Director you will also be responsible to aid company growth and ensure continual improvement in the rest of the team.

    Within this role you will be able to create and analyse reports on order book, ensure issues are dealt with before they become problems and help priotise the production workload. For this part of the role you will need excellent excel skills and you will be asked to demonstrate this at interview.

    You will be responsible for the day to day purchasing of raw materials including acting reactively to orders that come through for none stock lines. Our client isn’t looking for a Buyer as the rates etc. of the raw materials have been agreed. We are looking for a methodical, analytical individual with experience of forecasting and planning raw materials.

    Overlooking and managing the team of Customer Service Advisors you must have proven people management experience and be comfortable with managing performance.

     

    Person Specifications

    • Proven people management experience within a clerical environment
    • Proven experience of process improvement
    • Excellent communication skills 
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to analyse and interpret data
    • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
    • Highly organised
    • Able to perform under pressure
    • Proficient on all MS Office packages and Outlook with advanced excel skills
    • Proven experience of working within a fast paced busy environment

    • A competitive salary £22,000-£25,000 dependant on experience
    • 20 days holiday, plus Bank Holidays increasing after 2 years of service by 1 additional holiday day per year up to a maximum of 25.
