    Job Description

    We are working with my Client exclusively to source an experienced customer services assistant during maternity leave. However, due to growth this is a permanent position! Our Client are key players in the European fenestration market and manufacture high end bespoke products, by using the latest in design technology.

    Job Description

    • ·         Reporting to the Operations Manager
    • ·         Resolving complaints at first line resolution where possible
    • ·         Escalating complaints where appropriate
    • ·         Maintaining record keeping of all complaints and cases
    • ·         Complete weekly, and quarterly reporting and analysis on complaint and case data, nominal codes and identification of inefficiencies
    • ·         Ensure all inefficiencies are reported through the correct methods
    • ·         Highlight improvements to inefficiencies and suggestions for departmental progression
    • ·         Responsible for ensuring all cases and complaints are dealt with in a timely manner
    • ·         Ensure all communication to customers is constant
    • ·         Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and third parties for their assistance in resolving complaints and supplying remedial parts
    • ·         Ensure all customer communication is correctly saved and relevant documentation kept up to date
    • ·         Have oversight on all aftersales and remedial parts coming in - liaise with the Despatch Coordinator
    • ·         Complete Purchase Orders and send to the relevant suppliers to obtain the correct remedial parts
    • ·         Liaise with Accounts to ensure all payments are made prior to arrangement of replacements
    • ·         Manage Service Engineer’s diary, coordinating with customers, and completing Job Sheets for the Engineer weekly
    • ·         Where applicable ensure a written handover of work completed and work to be carried out is completed and correctly communicated to the appropriate person
    • ·         Complete root cause analysis on complaints/cases to identify internal and external issues
    • ·         Update any monetary values, losses or profit for each complaint/case
    • ·         Attend required meetings, and completed any required paperwork and documentation  



    Person Specifications


    • Strong customer services experience  

    • Excellent telephone manner
    • Proactive, ambitious and driven
    • Used to working in a fast paced environment
    • A strong communicator
    • Basic experience of accounts / purchase orders / payments
    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to influence sales outcomes 
    • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task



    Salary: £19,000

    Free Onsite parking



    Full training given 



    Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm / Permanent
