    Job Description

    We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join our client based in Boston. The main purpose of this role is to liaise with the Management Team regarding ideas to change resources and/or processes that could help improve customer service levels and/or drive commercial benefit

    Main duties will include but are not restricted to:

    • Be the focal point for the provision of administrative support to colleagues within the Sales Office
    • Ensure that all tasks relating to administrative support, ranging from filing to Prism processing functions, are processed quickly and efficiently; the target being on the day of receipt
    • Work independently and seek guidance from Manager, Supervisor and other departments when necessary
    • Responsible for stock control and replenishment of stationery and general office consumables within the Sales Office
    • When required, and where appropriate, work with or cover Reception, delivering high quality service to all visitors, both on the phone and face-to-face
    • Where appropriate, manage visitors and meetings on site, providing a professional and efficient service
    • Ensure that all housekeeping functions are maintained effectively and other allocated periodic tasks, including reports, are completed to given deadlines
    • Where appropriate, ensure meeting rooms are clean and tidy at all times, ensuring rooms are cleared quickly, stock replenished and prepared ready for reuse
    • Provide overflow cover for the answering of incoming phone calls
    • Ensure paperwork submitted to other departments and customers is fit for purpose and supplied punctually
    • When appropriate, take on responsibility for some customer accounts, to aid familiarisation with the CSE process in order to support the Office effectively

    • Professional customer service skills and good telephone manner
    • Excellent communicator - written and verbal - at all times
    • Well organised, paying close attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks
    • Friendly, approachable and flexible – a team player
    • Able to work independently seeking guidance where appropriate
    • Proactive, positive, enthusiastic - demonstrates “can do” attitude
    • Willingness to learn and support colleagues
    • Literate and Numerate to GCSE Grade C or equivalent
    • Computer literate – MS Outlook, Excel, Word or equivalent
    • Previous Customer Service and Telephone skills desirable but not essential
