Job Title: Administration Manager and PA

Hours: Full Time, 37 hrs (Mon-Fri), Term Time only
Our client based in Hampton, Peterborough is seeking an organised and proactive Administration Manager & Personal Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis for 9-12 months.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to the smooth running of a vibrant school environment. The role combines a variety of administrative duties alongside providing high-level personal assistant support to senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
Support for the Head of School
- Provide administrative, organisational and secretarial services for the Head of School.
- Manage the Head of School’s diary and arrange meetings, appointments and hospitality as required.
Administration
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the Administration Office and its staff, allocating work to meet the school and nursery’s needs and priorities.
- Support and manage the administration, organisational and reprographic requirements of each Key Stage; EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Liaise with the Trust administration staff and Head of School to ensure consistent working practices and procedures with other schools within the Trust.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Good educational background, with minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English Language & Maths
- Administration/Secretarial qualifications
- Experience of working at a senior level
- Experience of organising and prioritising workloads
- Proven experience of leading a team
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience of working in an educational setting along with an understanding of school procedures and processes would be advantageous but not essential.
