Key Details
- Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)
- Location: Newark – 4 days office / 1 day WFH
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week, 1-hour lunch)

About the Role
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role supporting the commercial team on a variety of construction projects. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Managing project costs and budgets
- Contract administration and document management
- Assisting with subcontractor packages and valuations
- Working closely with site and project managers to ensure cost-effective project delivery
- Contributing to project reporting and forecasting

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role
- Ideally degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Good knowledge of construction contracts and cost control principles
- A proactive, detail-focused mindset and strong organisational skills
- Strong communication and a team-first attitude
