A Manufacturer, based on the outskirts of Newark is looking for a Group Health & Safety Manager just like you—someone who’s proactive, experienced, and dedicated to driving a safety-first culture across our growing business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As the Group Health & Safety Manager, you’ll take charge of health and safety across all of the operations. You’ll have the opportunity to shape safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and work closely with managers and staff to ensure the well-being of everyone on-site. Here’s how you’ll make a difference:

  • Lead Safety Initiatives: You’ll be the go-to expert, ensuring that the sites are fully compliant with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Your keen eye will help identify hazards, and you’ll take immediate action to make sure any risks are controlled.
  • Influence a Culture of Safety: Through training, guidance, and regular communication, you’ll inspire teams across all levels to prioritise safety in everything they do.
  • Handle Incidents and Improvements: Should an accident happen, you’ll investigate thoroughly, implement changes, and ensure it doesn’t happen again.
  • Stay Ahead of the Game: You’ll keep up with the latest health and safety regulations and best practices, ensuring we’re always compliant and setting high standards.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

You’re not just experienced—you’re driven by a passion for health and safety. You’ll bring:

  • Proven Experience: You’ve worked in health and safety roles, preferably within a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.
  • A NEBOSH Diploma: You have the qualifications to back up your skills, and you understand the regulations inside and out.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You know how to work with teams at all levels and can influence a safety-first mindset.
  • Risk Assessment & Investigation Experience: You’ve conducted thorough investigations and audits and know how to implement preventive measures.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: You’ll work with site managers, supervisors, and staff to foster a culture where safety always comes first.
