The Qualifications....

Educated to Higher National Certificate or equivalent

HACCP qualifications and Internal Audit qualifications (HACCP Level 3 preferred)

Demonstrable knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice.

Relevant experience in a Quality based role in a manufacturing industry with high quality standards.

Auditing experience required.

The Job....

1. To maintain, control, update and issue all documents relevant to the site Quality Management Systems. This includes Site QMS. Quality Work Instructions, Quality Plans, creation of visual standards, attendance at relevant meetings to deliver right first time launches. Other documents deemed necessary to fulfil sites food quality and safety requirements.

2. Actively involved with preparation and execution of the sites internal and external audit programme, including HACCP and Food Defense audits. Taking responsibility for the completion of all allocated audits (as per specified audit schedule), management of internal audit schedule, associated documentation, reporting, follow-up by way of key stake holder meetings to satisfactory closure.

3. Actively involved with QMS & HACCP/Food Defence reviews & improvement plans.

4. Actively involved with gap analyses & implementation of action plans related to BRC standard and revised customer requirements.

5. Actively involved in QA & cross functional project work (investment projects and continuous improvement projects)

6. Implementation and management of site QA documentation templates within internal digital platforms and in paper formats.

7. Execution of site GMP audits and corrective actions follow up.

8. Support complaint investigations when related to food safety issues.

9. Actively involved in delivery of site training programme

10. Ensure full compliance with Company Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.
