I’m looking for a Semi Skilled Engineer to join a dynamic Engineering team, experience within FMCG/Food sector is preferred but not essential.
- Working a 4on 4off shift pattern on fixed days
- £32,000 - 33,000
Purpose
- To provide technical support in the correction, prevention and elimination of technical problems.
Key Responsibilities\Measures of Success
- You will be managing and closing out all equipment failures, work orders and PPM jobs.
- Ensuring data of all parts used, jobs raised & completed are entered on to CCM.
- Responsible for good housekeeping of all areas
- Ensure all work is carried out to specification and that SHE & food safety standards are met.
- Ensure that targets are met using the appropriate technical support in the correction, prevention and elimination of problems.
- Respond promptly and effectively to ensure quick resolution to any issues to minimise any downtime, quality and efficiency problems.
- Understand and contribute using a range of risk assessment techniques in order to ensure safety of plant, equipment, and people.
- Continually strive to reduce costs whilst ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum.
Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of both electrical and mechanical engineering.
- Competent IT/Computer skills
Qualifications
- On the job expereince or a recognised qualification for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
