Compliance Administrator to join a growing team in Grantham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a confident yet sensitive approach, who can build rapport easily while ensuring audits are completed effectively. You will be supporting the Group Operations and Client Accounting teams with administration tasks related to the audit process.

The role involves working through bank accounts and paper trails, speaking with clients via Zoom, and using a structured checklist to understand their current processes. You will be working alongside the Audit Manager, Senior Auditor, and an On-the-Road Auditor to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process. Full training and support will be provided, but applicants must have proven experience working in a compliance-driven environment and be familiar with the audit process—whether in finance or another industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support internal audits by reviewing bank accounts and paper trails, ensuring compliance with established processes.
  • Work closely with the Audit Manager and other senior auditors, assisting with the administration and coordination of audits.
  • Use a structured checklist to assess and understand client processes, offering insight and guidance where necessary.
  • Conduct client-facing meetings via Zoom, demonstrating a confident yet sensitive approach to build trust and gain insights into their current processes.
  • Ensure that all documentation and audit trails are completed accurately and in line with company requirements.
  • Collaborate with the audit team to identify areas for improvement and contribute to the overall audit process.
  • Assist with the overall administration and follow-up required throughout the audit cycle.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a compliance-driven environment, with a solid understanding of audit processes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients and build rapport quickly, especially over Zoom!
  • Confident, professional approach to speaking with clients, with the ability to navigate sensitive topics and get the job done.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow a structured audit process.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues across various departments.
  • Willingness to learn and receive full training and support throughout your role.
