Customer Service Administrator

Are you an experienced customer service administrator looking for a new job with an immediate start?

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Customer Service Administrator to join our clients' team in Grantham on a temporary basis.

This temporary role involves managing customer inquiries, processing orders, handling returns, and supporting day-to-day customer service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer calls, providing prompt and professional responses to inquiries about products, services, and orders.
  • Order Processing: Accurately process customer orders, ensuring correct details and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Returns Management: Handle customer returns and exchanges, ensuring they are processed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • SAGE System: Utilize the SAGE system for order processing, returns, and general administrative tasks. Previous experience with SAGE is beneficial, but full training will be provided.
  • Sales Support: Assist the sales team with administrative tasks such as preparing quotes and maintaining customer records.
  • Complaint Resolution: Manage customer complaints with a solution-oriented approach to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Communication: Collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external customers to ensure smooth order fulfillment and issue resolution.
  • General Administrative Duties: Perform filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks to support the customer service function.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing or construction-related industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional telephone manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with SAGE is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: £22,500 per annum

Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
