Our client is looking to recruit a confident sales professional to develop their business and promote their vacuum excavation equipment to the construction and multi-utilities industry. The role predominantly consists of promoting the hire of their vacuum excavation equipment to construction and engineering clients, industrial service companies as well as specialist contractors. The preferred candidate will have proven track record within the hire market however candidates with alternative sales experience will be considered.
Applicants will be confident to lead the sales activity, acquire prospects and expand business. You will be responsible for draft proposals, negotiating and closing contracts as well as working in partnership with customers to gain an understanding of their requirements and deliver solutions to their site/contract needs. The successful candidate would need to be able to influence clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of best fit for their business, quality, price and delivery by managing and interpreting the customer requirements.
A key part of the role is to develop business, potential additional accounts and implement strategies to ensure business and business potential. You will have a proven track record in developing new business. Ability to develop existing clients and manage accounts successfully. A good background within hire industry would be ideal.
