Do you have a few years of experience or recently graduated with a BSc in Quantity Surveying? This well-established company, based on the outskirts of Newark, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll play an integral role in supporting the senior surveying team on a variety of exciting projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to develop their career within the construction industry, with a focus on pre-cast concrete manufacturing and installation. You'll assist with managing project costs, contracts, and budgets while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and maintaining high-quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree or HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Some prior experience in quantity surveying or the construction industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with construction-specific software such as CostX or Buildsoft is a plus.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • A keen desire to learn and grow within the Quantity Surveying profession.
